I’m Hunter Collins. I didn’t grow up in Broken Bow, but I married into it.
My story starts in the woods of Maine, ends up under the pines and hardwoods of McCurtain County, and sits right in the overlap between the two. The same quiet, the same mist over the trees in the morning, the same feeling when you step out on a porch and hear nothing but wind and birds. That’s what hooked me here, and it’s why I care how cabins are managed in this part of Oklahoma.
My wife’s family has lived in Broken Bow their whole lives. I’m the outsider who stayed, learned the backroads, and bought into the town, not just the tourist version of it.
I’m a cabin owner, a property manager, and a frequent Airbnb guest. I know what feels right and what feels off from both sides of the booking screen.
